How many actors are in the show?

3 Actors playing up to 15 characters.

How long is the show?

50-60 Mins. Please allow time for seating the children and them leaving between shows.

What set do you bring?

All our shows have sets that have solid elements and opening and closing parts (not just banners or soft back drops) as this adds to the theatrical experience.  See our trailers and photos for reference.

Do you bring microphones?

Yes, all our actors wear high quality head mics and we bring a PA system for music and voice.

Do you bring lights?

Due to the highly interactive elements throughout our shows we like the audience and the stage to be well lit so we do not bring stage lighting. We have also found that younger children were less scared when the hall was bright.

How much space is needed?

We need 7m x 5m for our set and performance space. We need a narrow aisle through the centre of the audience as this means we can interact with all the children and engage with those at the back so they don't feel left out or get bored.

Can you perform on a stage?

If it is big enough and we can easily get on and off to interact with the audience then yes. Otherwise we will set up in front of it. Please consider this in relation to the space you have for your audience,

What is your maximum audience size?

This depends a little on your hall space (please see question above).  For the audience to have the best pantomime experience we suggest a maximum audience size of 210.

What ages are your shows suitable for?

The shows are designed for Reception to year 6. (Nursery can be included too).  There is lots of visual and physical comedy to entertain younger years and we find our original stories and journey quest elements to our plot highly engage the older pupils.  Due to the high level of audience interaction and input the show varies depending on the age of the audience.  The show is proven to work for whole school audiences as well as split shows for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

How long is set up and pack down?

Maximum time is 45 minutes. For morning shows we aim to arrive at 8am to avoid the morning rush of drop off. For lunch set up we pack away costumes and props in 10 minutes.

What access do you require?

We need to be able to park one vehicle near to the performance space to load.  We also need a parking space for the duration of our visit. Set up time may be adjusted if access or parking is more difficult and please make us aware of this when booking.
