The Story

It's nearly Christmas and whilst Sam's dad is in hospital he is at home playing 'Pantomonuim'. Sam is on the last level when "Small & Mighty" the elf sends a message - Lapland is in need of urgent help!  The elves have been too busy gaming to get things ready for Xmas and Santa is stuck in his chair.

 

Sam needs to save Christmas - but he doesn't know the first thing about being fit and elfy! Drastic and magical action is needed. Th elf casts a spell that brings Sam's TV and games to life and characters from from well known pantomimes, stories, games and shows all become part of this unique pantomime adventure.

The audience become the "National Elf Service" and help in every scene in the show. Sam and the audience have a lot to do, will they save Christmas & themselves?

​

This fast paced original story with over 15 characters keeps everyone engaged and entertained for the whole time. The high level of audience interaction means that the children become part of the story and the show making it their own and a highly memorable experience.

The Educational Twist

Throughout the pantomime antics we include PSHE curriculum areas supporting idea around physical and mental health and wellbeing.

 

It can be tricky to be healthy and happy, especially around Christmas time, but all our pantomime characters, and the audience, pick up useful ideas throughout the show, here's some examples:

 

Sleeping Beauty is struggling to sleep, can she discover a good bedtime routine​?

The Big Bad Wolf has got quite unfit, what suggestions will the audience come up with to get him in shape?

Peter Pan is feeling down, how can he cheer himself up?

Can we solve the argument between Hansel and Gretel - One wants cake and the other wants crisps?

The Evil Queen is struggling to feel beautiful on the inside, a bit of dancing and singing may help her.

Developed alongside children and schools we can ensure that the storyline, themes and interaction are enjoyable and inclusive. 

The Interaction

As the audience take on a role in the show they become involved in it all, suggesting ideas, singign, dancing - even becoming part of the set!  

Can your pupils help Catnip Evergreen succeed in the 'Hungry Games'?

Offer suggestions, advice, and help Sam as he meets over 15 well known pantomime characters on his journey to save Christmas?

Our highly skilled performers are also trained facilitators to make sure that the interaction is fully engaging and also fun for all.

The show is for life and not just for Christmas so we include a free teaching classroom activity pack with activities for all areas of the curriculum adapted for each key stage and a full fundraising pack.
